1-21 May 2011. This first Egyptian Photo Marathon is organized by the Danish Egyptian Dialogue Institute (DEDI) and the International Media Support (IMS) in collaboration with a number of local Egyptian cultural institutions. This event was inspired by the famous Danish Photo Marathon.

On this occasion 51 passionate photographers such as amateurs and professionals were called to interpret several playful and idiomatic themes, selected by the writer and comedian Motaz Attala, related to gender in the city. The most original and interesting shots were selected by a jury of professional photographers and will be displayed on this occasion.
