Full Moon Hikes

1-2 Nov 2009. Spend the evening hiking under moonlight on 1 and 2 November at the Dirtopia Trail Centre, where you can take in the breathtaking views of the sun setting over Table Mountain while enjoying a moonlit picnic.

The planned vineyard trail is 9.75 km long and starts from the Dirtopia Trail Centre on Delvera farm (R44). It will take approximately one hour to hike to the top so be sure to arrive before 18.00, giving yourself time to see the spectacular sunset at 19.15. Keep your torch handy after dark, take warm clothing in case the weather changes and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Permits cost R40 per person and R20 for kids under ten years. Snacks and drinks will be on sale at the Trail Centre or pack your own picnic basket.
