Gallery Collection at Almasar

1 August-1 October 2012. This group exhibition displays a selection of paintings and sculptures, displayed at the gallery over the past four years, by 33 late, modern and contemporary Egyptian artists. On focus is the evolution of Egypt's eminent artists, starting with the stars of the 20th century's Egyptian modern art, to the late artists and pioneers of the third, fourth and fifth generation, up until the young and vibrant contemporary artists. Among the artists are Farouk Hosny, Gazbia Sirry, Georges Bahgory and Hany Rashed.
