2-6 March 2006. The annual Ghana Music Awards opens on 2 March with the Ghana music industry awards and highlife night. This is followed on 3 March by a conference on key issues in Ghanas music industry, including piracy. The 2006 award ceremony is to take place at the Accra international conference centre on 4 March. The following day the Christian Action Faith Ministry will host a gospel festival featuring top Ghanaian, South African and Nigerian gospel artistes. The festival closes on 6 March with a jam at the La Beach Resort. The nominations list is led by hiplife duo Wutah.
