Ghana's fashion and design week

Local and international designers meet at the Movenpick Ambassador hotel. The catwalk shows are on 11-12 Oct and there are also trade shows and fashion accessory exhibitions.

Sarah Duah (Germany), Katungulu Mwedwa (Kenya) Nana Brenu's 1981 (Ghana and Italy), Tap Designs (Nigeria), Vonne Couture (France) and Radford University Ghana graduates Akoah Tsibo-Tayki and Gloria Adablah are among the exhibitors.

One of the important sectors supported by the Ghana Fashion and Design Week (GFDW) is ETHIKHA, to give ethical fashion brands the chance to gain international exposure.

GFDW, now in its second year, is a contemporary fashion event to promote international interest in Ghana's fashion industry. Both established and new designers will show their spring/summer 2014 lines.
