4-20 May 2006. Gotas traditional silos found in homes in northern Ethiopia for storing grain made by arte povera artist Elias Sime go on show at the Alliance thio-franaise. The exhibits are large in size and inspired by indigenous constructions using mud and straw. A graduate in fine art, after completing his studies Sime turned his attention to collage, using found materials scrap metal, torn material, bottle tops, buttons, thread, keys to make his art.
