Haba na Haba Contemporary Dance in Public Spaces

28 February-13 March 2011. Haba na Haba, organized in collaboration between Goethe Institut and Lumumba Theatre Group, features a series of workshops and performances around town.

From 28 February to 11 March the Russian-Tanzanian Cultural Centre will host a workshop on contemporary dance conducted by the emerging choreographer Isack Peter Abeneko, who will introduce a series of techniques of contemporary dance as well as stimulate a general discussion on dance scenes in Tanzania. A final public performance, which will be performed at public spaces around Dar es Salaam, will terminate the workshop.
