25 Oct-9 Nov 2006. Works in watercolour and Indian ink by Carlos Marin Bellido depicting life in the walled city of Harar in eastern Ethiopia are on display at the Alliance Etio-Francaise. Bellido has lived outside Harar for over a year and says: Every day I see the loved city from afar with its colourful houses and the two minarets of Yuma mosque proudly standing in front of the valley's bluish immensity Its crowded streets and people are the subject of his work. Mon-Fri 12.30-19.00, Sat 09.30-12.00 and 14.00-18.00. Entrance free.
