This exhibition features work by 50 contemporary Egyptian artists who have been inspired by Egypt's heritage. Items on display include paintings, silver jewellery, calligraphy, ceramics, sculpture, 3D designs and graphic art.

Features artists include Tahiya Halim, Salah Taher, Sabri Ragheb, Mohamed Sabri, Kamel Mustafa, Gihan Raouf, Efat Hosni, Farouk Wagdi, Makram Henein, Mohamed Tarrawi and Iman Hakim. The sculptors are Isaaq Danial, Halim Yacoub, Abdel-Aziz Saab and Ammar Shiha, the ceramists are Mohamed Mandour, Mourad Aziz and Khaled El-Fayoumy and the designers, who present their silver handmade jewels, are Ahmed Badawi, Sarah Abdel-Azim, Nagwa Mahdi and Magda Ali.

A special tribute is paid to guest of honour and veteran artist Abdel-Wahab Mursi for his contribution to the local art scene. Mursi is famous for his murals and his paintings, in which he mixes Pharaonic symbols and modern motifs in a brilliant melange of past and present.
