21 Feb-17 March. Cairo-based visual artist and cultural historian Huda Lutfi holds her first solo show in her native Egypt for several years. Making a Man out of Him presents a mixed body of work focusing on the different cultural representations and performances of the male body. Using a combination of found objects, ready-mades, sculptures and photographic material Lutfi juxtaposes idealised depictions of masculinity with images of ordinary men taken on the streets of the Egyptian capital.
