Infecting the City, Cape Town public arts festival

Open spaces in the city will be alive both day and night with arts performance which include dance, music, installations.

The names of just some of the events give an idea of what is in store: Living Room Dancers, Prayer to the New Moon, Slinky Love, And it Went Everywhere, Blue by the Cape Dance Company, Cape Mongo, Chalk, City of Lives, Dubito Ergo Sum, Hesitation Change by New World Dance Theatre.

All events are free of charge. Locations all over the city and the festival is presented by Africa Centre, created in 2005 as a Pan-African centre of creativity to promote social change. The festival is curated by a team this year rather than a single person. For more details see the website.
