Islamic Cairo by Mohamed El-Nasser

This exhibition displays the oil paintings by the renownwd Egyptian painter Mohamed El-Nasser, who portrays the Islamic part of the centre of Cairo with its important mosques and other Islamic monuments. This historical area was founded in 969 AD and currently suffers from neglect and decay, being one of the poorest and most overcrowded areas of Cairo.
