Jersey Boys is a multi award winning Broadway musical, which tells the true story of the front man Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, a group of unknown kids from New Jersey, who soon became international pop superstars and whose music became symbolic of a generation. Besides the great musical hits, it focuses on how this quartet, guided by a special code of honour, learned in the streets of their native New Jersey, allowed them to face a multitude of challenges, including gambling debts, Mafia threats and family disasters. Performed by a cast of 19 South African elements, this show achieved a great success during its recent seasons in Singapore and Johannesburg.
