John Kamicha and Yassir Ali Mohammed
Kenyan artist John Kamicha and Sudanese Yassir Ali Mohammed are showing together at the Banana Hill Gallery.
Kamicha’s work has been influenced by the violence and bloodshed of the post-2007 elections and his work has also been featured at the Michael Joseph Art Centre.
Yassir Ali Mohammed’s style is inspired by north Sudanese Nubian culture and he has his studio at the Kuona Trust Art Center.
The Banana Hill Gallery specialises in East African contemporary art and has also had an exhibition in Ghana.
