17 September 2010. For the first time in Kenya this event, organized in collaboration between the Goethe-Institut Nairobi, the Kenya Library Association (KLA) and the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation (JKF), will nominate the Kenyan library of the year to receive the national Maktaba Award. The prize is awarded to the Kenyan library that has provided the public with the most efficient information service combined with high quality and innovation.
Event starts at 16.00 and takes place in the library of the United States International University.
