24-26 Oct 2008. The Khayelitsha Festival, this year in its first edition, is a celebration of the wealth of talent in the Cape Town township on the 25th anniversary of its creation. The programme, modelled on the Soweto Festival in Johannesburg, includes a leisure and lifestyle exhibition, music, fashion shows, arts and crafts, a youth zone, dance and competitions.
