31 October-5 November 2011. The Kenya Museum presents Know Kenya More, one week of cultural and entertaining appointments to learn more about Kenya, its past, present and future.

Participants will take part to several lectures, discussions and exhibitions, such as With New Eyes by Kuki Gallman, Talk to the Stars: The Samburu of Northern Kenya by Rhodia Mann, The Uniqueness of Diani: Primate Conservation in a Concrete Jungle by Pamela Cunneyworth, The Social Life of Elephants by Cynthia Moss, Kenyan Politics-A Personal Perspective by Macharia Gaitho and Drawing East Africa by Javier Serrano Aviles. They will also listen to Prof. Christian Borgomeister (ICIPE) and his theory on How Science Can Contribute to Poverty Alleviation.

On programme is also the screening of New Wave of Kenyan Films: Taharuki (Suspense) and Zebu & the Photo Fish & Weakness as well as Film on Kayas: The Sacred Forests of the Mijikenda.

This rich cultural will terminate with a visit and guided tour to the Karura Forest on 5 November.
