16 February 2011. This lecture is conducted by Prof. Dr. Karl-Heinz Kohl, director of the Frobenius-Institut in Frankfurt, Germany, who presents the work of his institution, regarded as one of the leading international centers on Ethiopian Studies.

Since 1898 the Frobenius-Institut conducts ethnological, historic and prehistoric research on Africa as well as on South and Southeast Asia, Australia, South and North America and Oceania. The institute has recently also focused on cultural learning processes in the context of globalization.
