Libraries with a Kick poster exhibition

10 June-30 July 2010. This exhibition is the result of a poster competition entitled Libraries with a Kick, launched in sub-Saharian countries on the occasion of the recent FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. It presents posters and slogans created by children and adults that create, explore or underline the links between libraries and football as well as focusing on the role of reading and access to information. In the end 14 posters from ten countries were chosen from over 1,000 entries. Public libraries in the participating countries received the national winner for use for promotional purposes.
