Lola Kenya Screen Forum on Short Films from Eastern Africa
31 January-26 December 2011. Every last Monday of the month Goethe Institut hosts Lola Kenya Film Forum, a series of screenings and public discussions on film production in Kenya.
This audiovisual platform aims to exchange ideas, debate, explore the developments of film industry in Eastern Africa. Short films from this area, many of which are shown for the first time, are projected and discussed. Among the movies shown so far are films by Willie Owusu, Just A Band, Wanuri Kahiu and Judy Kibinge.
