1 July 2007. South African Reggae legend Lucky Dube performs live in Accra in a concert to raise awareness about Hiv/Aids. The three-hour gig is being organized under the auspices of the South African high commission in Ghana. Born in Ermelo, 150 km west of Johannesburg, in 1964, Dube discovered music while singing in his school choir. He has gone on to become one of the most renowned musicians in South Africa and has cut 21 albums in English, Zulu and Afrikaans. His work often has a social or political message.
