15 April 2006. Young French musician Mathieu Boogaerts performs in concert at the Lycee Gebre Mariam in Addis Ababa as part of an international tour. Born in Fontenay sous Bois near Paris in 1970, Boogaerts discovered music at an early age. He launched his first album, Super, in 1996 following a trip to Africa. Since then he has performed in numerous solo concerts, accompanying himself on the guitar. More recently he has enlisted the support of a three-member band comprising bass guitar, keyboard and drums. He released his fourth album, Michel, inspired by the cities of Berlin and Barcelona, in 2005. 18.30. Entrance 40 Birr, students 20 Birr.
