Mexican Month in Addis Ababa

The complicities of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo 1914-1955.

Organised by the Mexican embassy in Addis Ababa as part of the 65th anniversary of bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Mexico.

The exhibition, which has also been on display in several European cities, features 36 photos of Kahlo and Rivera from Mexico's national museums and historical institutes.

It focuses on their tempestuous private lives and loves and also throws light on their relationship with Trotsky while he was in exile in Mexico City at the end of the 1930s.
