Mikasi Dance Performance

5 November 2010. This dance performance, entitled Mikasi, was conceived by the organization Kuruka Maisha Foundation, which is involved in projects to improve the standard and conditions of life and education of the African population. The aim of this event is to rehabilitate street children and youth around Kenya through dance and move them out of extreme poverty, vulnerability and dependency to a new condition of self-sufficiency and well being. In addition the purpose is to reintegrate these small children in the society and to prevent them from violence.
