Miriam Rubino de Rinck’s Pop Art Safari

17 May-13 June 2011. This exhibition displays a selection of works entitled Pop Art Safari by the Argentinean artist Miriam Rubino de Rinck. On this occasion visitors will have the chance to browse and acquire some of the most popular Modern African paintings by this well-established Nairobi resident. Through a deceptively simple, almost naive appearance, Pop Art Safari unravels complex ideas about African identity and colonization processes.
