12 Nov-12 Dec 2009. This exhibition by Frances Goodman features a set of six sculptures reproducing beaded luxury suitcases of famous brands. With irony and criticism she explores the transience of brand loyalty during a period of recession. The artists tries to understand how harmless activities like eating and shopping can turn into terrible vices and true obsessions. Goodman tries to discover what economic and cultural conditions accelerate this deviation.
