24 July-7 Sept 2010. Paintings on canvas of the people of Kenya make up the first solo show by Moses Nyawanda in Nairobi for over seven years.

Born in Bondo in Nyanza district in 1972, Nyawanda worked for a year as a library assistant before joining the Creative Art Center in Nairobi in 1993. He took a three-year diploma in fine arts and then worked as a laboratory assistant at Moi Girls High School in the capital in order to subsidise his career as an artist, holding his first solo show in September 1997. Since then he has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions and won several prizes.
