1 Oct-30 Nov 2009. Veteran Mozambican sculptor Naftal Langa presents his work at the Kulungwana in the central train station in Maputo.
Born in 1932 in the small village of Mandlhakazi, Langa began to sculpt under the influence of his contemporary Alberto Chissano, also a self-taught artist. He has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group shows in Mozambique and abroad.
