14-16 Feb 2007. The chair of the British Council, the former British Labour Party leader and EU commissioner Neil Kinnock, will be in Mozambique in mid Feb to meet council staff, partners and students. During his visit he will also attend the opening of first Mozambique-Angola English language teaching conference, which takes place in Namaacha, roughly 80 km west of Maputo, from 15-17 Feb, as well as meeting president Armando Guebuza and the minister for education and culture, Dr. Aires Aly.
