New romantic comedy on general release.

From 21 July 2006. Producer, director and writer Berhane Negussie makes his film debut with Love & Dance, a romantic comedy exploring the ideal of true love and commitment to artistic excellence against the backdrop of a street dance competition. The film stars singer-dancer Samvod, Bertukan Befekadu, Girum Melkamu and Getaneh Tehaye, who is also responsible for the choreography. Theres also a guest appearance from Ethiopias best-known athlete Haile Gebreselassie. Music is by Jonny Ragga, the so-called father of Ethio-Jazz, Mulatu Astateke, Girma Yisfrashew and Hunante Mulu. Negussie has a background as a tour guide, entertainment magazine editor and publisher and radio and television presenter and producer. In Amharic with English subtitles.
