On Independence and the Ambivalence of Promise.

Nigeria gained its independence from Britain on 1 October 1960. The CCA project intends to question the limits of postcolonial critical thinking and ideas as well as exploring the dreams, realities and possibilities for full independence that have engaged people and communities since the end of colonialism.
