Photographic Exhibition by Hugues Fontaine

31 Jan-18 Feb. On occasion of the release of the book Un train en Afrique, African Train. Djibouti-Ethiopia, published by the French Centre for Ethiopian Studies, this exhibition displays the photographs by Hugues Fontaine.

The book examines the first 30 years of the Djibouti-Addis Ababa railway construction and pays tribute to the last railway men with a series of portraits.

The opening is followed by the screening of a series of unreleased archival films by Fointaine.
