2 Dec 2006-2 May 2007. Work by leading South African photographer Santu Mofokeng is on show in a comprehensive retrospective titled "Invoice" at the national gallery in Cape Town. Born in Johannesburg in 1956, Mofokeng started working as a street photographer in 1973 while he was still at school before joining the Afrapix Collective, an independent photographic agency that documented the anti-apartheid movement during the 1980s. He has exhibited widely both in South Africa and abroad and has received several awards for his work. Tickets R10 adults, R5 children. Tues-Sun 10.00-17.00. Mon closed.
