1 Sept 2008. Renowned Italian pianist Christian Leotta performs works by Beethoven, Liszt, Busoni and Schubert at the Italian Cultural Institute. Born in Catania, Leotta studied at the Milan Conservatory, the Tureck Bach Research Foundation in Oxford and the Theo Lieven International Piano Foundation on Lake Como. He has performed solo and with orchestras in over 30 countries worldwide and in 2004 he received special recognition from the then president of the Italian republic, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, for his performances in Europe and the Americas of Beethoven
