Piano Recital by Francesco Taskayali

25 September 2012. This live concert is performed by the 21-year-old Italian pianist Francesco Taskayali. In his compositions classic piano traditions meet minimalistic trends and Eastern rhythms.

Taskayali has produced two albums: the first one, Emre, is minimalistic, neo-romantic and deeply emotional, influenced by Michael Nyman, Yann Tiersen, Ludovico Einaudi. His second album, entitled, LeVent, is influenced by Eastern rhythms. Taskayali signed a digital rights agreement with The Music Sales London to publish his scores. One of the most important Italian mobile phone companies, Tim S.p.a., used a piece included in Taskayali second album, entitled Iris, as soundtrack for a commercial video.
