25 November-18 December 2011. This very popular play, entitled Pirates of Nairobi Dam, was written by Gilbert and Sullivan, performed by the Phoenix Players and directed by George Mungai.
It tells the story of a band of pirates from Nairobi, who for some funny coincidence, stumble onto a bevy of maidens frolicking at the shores of the Dam.
The last time this play was staged by the Phoenix Players was in 1988.
