20 Jan-20 Feb 2010. This exhibition presents recent pottery and paintings by the Egyptian ceramic artist Nabil Darwish. Darwish uses vivid, metallic colours over a dark matte background to create a unique appeal. The use of metallic luster, common to many contemporary Egyptian artists, has its roots in the ancient Egyptian, Coptic as well as Islamic tradition.
