16 Jan. This movie, directed by Philipp Stölzl, deals with the story of the life of the German poet and writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832).
It tells a story of friendship, the discrepancy between the family’s plan for the poet to pursue a career in civil service and his call for poetry as well as his experience of tragic love with Lotte Buff, which inspired one of his successful novels.
