20 April 2012. Alliance Française screens this French movie, entitled The Actress’ Ball (Le Bal des Actrices), written and directed by Maiwenn, which was released in January 2009. Maiwenn, a former actress and movie director, decided to shoot a documentary film on the real life of actresses.

This movie catches a behind the scene and genuine portrayal of these women. According to Maiween these protagonists hide behind a successful career a neurotic need to be loved.

Projection lasts from 18.30 to 20.30.
