21 May-20 June 2009. This series of football photographs by Clint Strydom was taken in the remote rural areas of Natal, where the passion for soccer is widespread. The series was inspired by the kids of Thanda, who use footballs for so long that they eventually disintegrate. Images include the juxtaposition of their used balls with a carload of new soccer balls provided by Strydom. Other pictures were taken further down in the Transkei region, where Strydom captured some players turning public beaches into soccer fields with energy and enthusiasm. The photographer
