3 March-20 April 2006. Born in Zaire (present-day Democratic Republic of Congo) in 1964, Xavier Verhoest studied cinematography and editing in Belgium before joining Medecins Sans Frontires as a volunteer. His experience with the international medical organisation in Burundi, Azerbaijan, Congo, Sudan, Somalia, Laos, Palestine and Kenya influences much of his work. He is now a full-time artist in Kenya. The exhibition of recent work will be opened by Eric Falt, director of the communications and public information division of the United Nations Environmental Programme. Opening 3 March 18.00-21.00.
