12-30 March 2011. This exhibition entitled Reflections features the colourful works by the contemporary Ugandan painter Paulo Akiiki. His paintings are inspired by the memories of his youth in the Ugandan countryside, characterized by huge, shining lakes, light purplish blue skies, hazy hills, dark mountains.

Akiiki studied paintings, sculpture and graphics at the Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Arts Makerere University in Kampala, is currently member of the Uganda Artists Association and has displayed his works both locally and internationally.
