1 June 2008. The annual off-road car rally near Nyeri north of Nairobi raises money for the Rhino Ark Charitable Trust. Competitors are required to visit 13 control points scattered over approximately 100 sqm of rough terrain in ten hours. Navigation is by compass/GPS and the winner is the competitor who visits all control points in the shortest distance. 07.30-17.30. The money raised will be used to build an electric fence to protect the Aberdares National Park and Conservation Area in Kenya
