One of Kenya's foremost artists examines common problems for ordinary people, whether immigration, dress and the havoc and pressure caused by the political class. These oils on canvas are crowded with skull-like heads reminiscent of Munch's Scream.

Kimathi's Ghost of the Sea is particularly disturbing.
