This multicultural event consists of a video and map presentation by the Italian photographer, architect and artist Anna Positano, which relates places and memories. It mixes biography and geography to build a different perception of places.

Five inhabitants of Addis Ababa were asked to sketch their paths around the city according to some of their experiences and daily lives. Positano created a map of the Ethiopian city, which collects their routes and words. She also shot five videos of them, which explain the reason why they chose certain places and routes.

Positano was born in 1981 in Genoa, where she currently lives and works. In 2009 she accomplished her MA Photography at the London College of Communication; in 2008 she graduated in architecture at the University of Genoa. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, in private galleries and public institutions. In 2013 she was selected as one of the recipients of the Movin’Up programme, funded by the Italian ministry of culture.
