Safari marathon Arusha

The fifth edition of the Safari Marathon.

Several thousand participants will run in one of three races, the half marathon, the 10 km and the 5 km runs.

Last year the starting point is the famous Clock Tower in the centre of Arusha. The marathon is an increasing tourist attraction for professional and amateur runners from abroad as well as the international organisations and schools in the area.

It is an easier alternative to grueling the Kilimanjaro full marathon which is held in Moshi and is usually scheduled at the end of February beginning of March each year.

The date for 2015 is 1 March.
