Samosa Festival 2012

22-29 September 2012. The Samosa Festival consists of a biennial cultural platform for the promotion of Kenyan music, art, poetry and drama as well as ethnic and racial unity.

On stage are various artists, who propose traditional as well as contemporary interpretations of movement, music and art. This innovative and dynamic event conveys messages of harmonious co-existence, cross cultural acceptance, cohesion and integration in Kenyan society. Under the motto of Creating Cultural Encounters, it demonstrates how culture can be used as a powerful tool to generate people’s better understanding of each other. The festival takes place at various venues around town, such as Alliance Française and The Go Down Arts Centre of Nairobi.
