15-18 November 2009. The Second International Conference on African Culture and Development (ICACD) is being held in Accra on the theme Culture and the Millennium Development Goals. Bringing together academics whose expertise ranges from development studies to African culture and social sciences, as well as representatives of African traditional institutions and government agencies, the conference will draw global attention to African arts and culture and highlights the significance of the arts in terms of business and the development of the African continent.
