Sighting Ramadan’s Crescent

19 July 2012. The American University Observatory and the Science Outreach Program at the School of Sciences and Engineering organize this public lecture and telescope sighting of Ramadan’s crescent moon.

This event will start with a lecture by Alaa Ibrahim, assistant professor, at the Conference and Visitor Centre of AUC New Cairo. A telescope sighting will follow on the rooftop of the Abdul Latif Jameel Building.

Event lasts from 18.00 to 20.00.
