South African Eco Film Festival

This eco film festival, now in its second year, gives local audiences a chance to see some of the best international films and documentaries about the environment that might not be on the national distribution circuit.

This year the festival lasts for a week and shows 38 films, 13 more than last year. The topics cover deforestation, food wastage, agriculture., climate change and even an eco-thriller. Each screening is followed by a discussion. This year there are also showing in Johannesburg, Pretoria and the Eastern Cape.
